Random Option / Yes–No Picker

Enter “Yes / No”, “True / False”, or any set of options. The calculator will pick one at random, with a small animation to show the decision.

Empty lines are ignored. Each non-empty text is one option.

Remove duplicate options (each option appears only once).

Selecting a preset fills the options box. You can still edit them before drawing.

“Chips” shows all options and animates a highlight before stopping on the chosen one.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a random option picker choose one option?

It collects all non-empty options from your input, applies the duplicate setting if enabled, and then selects one option at random from the final list. Each option in the final list is treated as equally likely.

What does handle duplicates mean in a random option picker?

When enabled, repeated options are kept only once so each unique option has the same probability of being selected. When disabled, duplicates remain in the list and can increase the chance of those repeated options being chosen.

How should I format options for the random option picker?

Enter one option per line, or separate options using commas or semicolons. Empty lines are ignored so they do not count as options.

What is the difference between chips with roulette animation and single big card only?

Chips mode shows all options and animates a moving highlight before stopping on the chosen option. Single big card only displays the final chosen option without showing the full animated selection.

Why do I get a different result when I click Calculate again?

Each click performs a new random draw from the same set of valid options. With the same input list, the selection can change from run to run.
